PRICING

This pricing page explains the main fees that may apply to ticket purchases and event sales on PinnKET. Our goal is to keep pricing clear, transparent, and easy to understand for both ticket buyers and event owners.

1. ADMINISTRATION FEE

Each ticket purchase is subject to an Administration Fee of 1,000 UGX. This fee is paid by the ticket buyer and helps cover administrative and ticket processing costs.

2. COMMISSION

A Commission of 7% is deducted from the ticket price for each completed transaction. This fee is paid by the event owner and contributes to platform operations and transaction support.

3. SMS HANDLING FEE

For ticket purchases involving SMS delivery or SMS notifications, a handling fee of 500 UGX may apply. This fee is paid by the ticket buyer.

4. USSD HANDLING FEE

USSD purchases automatically trigger SMS-based delivery or confirmation, which means the SMS handling fee of 500 UGX also applies to USSD transactions.

5. TRANSACTION FEES

Transaction fees are charged by external payment providers such as MTN, Airtel, Visa, or other supported channels. These fees vary depending on the payment method used and the value of the transaction.

6. TRANSFER FEE

The first transfer of a ticket is free. Any subsequent transfer of the same ticket may attract the Administration Fee.

7. PRICING CALCULATIONS

For Ticket Buyers

• Total Price Paid = Ticket Price + Administration Fee (+ SMS Handling Fee, if applicable) + Transaction Fees

For Event Owners

• Total Earnings = Ticket Price – Commission

8. EXAMPLES

A. Ticket Buyer

• Platform purchase without SMS:
  Total Price Paid = 10,000 UGX + 1,000 UGX + Transaction Fees
  = 11,000 UGX + Transaction Fees
• Platform purchase with SMS enabled:
  Total Price Paid = 10,000 UGX + 1,000 UGX + 500 UGX + Transaction Fees
  = 11,500 UGX + Transaction Fees
• USSD purchase:
  Total Price Paid = 10,000 UGX + 1,000 UGX + 500 UGX + Transaction Fees
  = 11,500 UGX + Transaction Fees

B. Event Owner

• Ticket Price = 10,000 UGX
  Commission = 7%
  Total Earnings = 10,000 UGX – 700 UGX
  = 9,300 UGX

9. TICKET POS SALES

PinnKET also supports physical ticket sales through a Point of Sale (POS) using the Stelify App available on Google Play. These tickets are sold using credits owned by the event creator within the PinniTAGS system. Such tickets cannot be transferred but may still be downloadable from the PinnKET platform.

10. PRICING TRANSPARENCY

We are committed to clear pricing. Customers should be informed about applicable fees before completing a ticket purchase.

11. POLICY UPDATES

Pricing may be reviewed and updated periodically to reflect operational changes, payment provider adjustments, or regulatory requirements. Any major changes will be communicated where appropriate.

12. COMPLIANCE

PinnKET pricing practices are designed to align with applicable legal and regulatory standards. Transactions are handled through PinniTAGS with Yo! Payments Uganda and other supported payment partners where applicable.
